Planning a wedding is hard. You want everything to be perfect. But you don’t really know what you need, and every time you ask around, people start giving you advice on things you never even thought of before. What if this? What if that? Oh yeah! And there’s that thing! Yeah, it all gets pretty overwhelming pretty quickly.

Don’t worry if you’re not sure what kind of wedding you want. Our process gets couples to the altar with their sanity intact. We believe in transparency, and we’re not going to upsell you on something you don’t need.

Here’s where ours start: Wedding Management from $3,500, Partial Planning from $6,250 and Full Service at $18,000, or 18% of your overall budget when it exceeds $100,000. Not ready for a planner? We are really transparent about this one. There is no such thing as day-of coordination. It’s like a mystical unicorn who lives in the North Pole. It DOES NOT exist. It’s like showing up for a Quantum Physics exam but just scanning the first two pages of the textbook. Now unless you are some kind of genius, you’re going to fail, and so would we. We don’t set our clients or ourselves up for failure.

It is impossible for someone to show up the day of your wedding and be able to manage every single detail. There are 100 moving parts. If you don’t mind collaborating with us and becoming our BFFs well in advance of your wedding, then we are probably an awesome fit. That’s exactly what Wedding Management is for.

If you love planning and just want the tools, guidance from a real expert whenever you need it and us running the day, that’s Wedding Management. If you’ve started but want a pro beside you for the tricky parts (vendors, floor plans and timelines) with monthly 1:1 calls from 6 months out, that’s Partial Planning. Still not sure? Full Service couples usually book 8 to 15 months before the wedding. For Partial Planning and Wedding Management, the earlier the better, because our team gives you your tools and resources up front. We book weddings at least 6 months out.

We book weddings at least 6 months out, because doing it right takes time and we never set our couples (or ourselves) up for failure. If your date is sooner, our 1:1 Power Hour ($125) is made for exactly this moment: 60 minutes of real answers and a clear game plan for what to do next.

We love working with venue coordinators on the wedding day. An on-site venue coordinator is great to have, but let’s be really clear about who they work for: they work for the venue. We work for you.

For weddings with an outdoor moment, we run our JBE Weather Report no more than 2 days before your wedding, lined up with your timeline, so we can see the weather for each part of your day. It’s pulled for the exact GPS coordinates of your site, not the general county, and built from several hourly forecasts. The report once helped us anticipate a monsoon that would have destroyed some expensive rentals. It’s included in Full Service and Partial Planning, and can be added to Wedding Management for $100.

Unfortunately, we don’t control Mother Nature. She can decide at any moment to have a mood swing and do a 180 on us. But the report gives us real insight, so we can plan ahead for the absolute worst case.

We plan weddings and events along the entire East Coast for couples from across the country and around the world. Close to home, many of our weddings are in New Jersey’s Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset and Warren counties, and in Pennsylvania’s Bucks County, Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia. For venues an hour or more from our office, you cover accommodations for our team.

Three to six months ahead is ideal. It gives our team time to design, and gives you time to book your vendors before their calendars fill.

Yes. We plan showers and parties anywhere: your home, a private residence, a restaurant or a venue.

With Event Design & Planning and Full Production, we recommend trusted vendors and help you line them up. Your vendors set up their own work (food, rentals, balloons and backdrops), and with Full Production our team oversees it and places your personal touches.

Not at this time. We focus on weddings, bridal and baby showers, engagement parties, vow renewals, milestone anniversaries, and corporate and non-profit events.

Because our clients’ privacy comes first. Many of the people we plan for are doctors, nurses, lawyers, judges and school administrators who keep their personal lives offline, and we will never be the reason that changes. So we never put them on social media, share their names or tell their stories, and the few moments on our site are shared with permission and never come with a name.

Many accolades aren’t really earned: they come with sponsorship, advertising or marketing spend with the companies handing them out. Our greatest accolade is a referral, along with the real reviews that speak volumes and are a true testament to our work.

Many venues require vendors to pay to be on their preferred list, so the spot is bought, not earned. Fundamentally, we don’t believe a preferred list should be made up of vendors who have to pay to be on it. When a vendor’s work speaks for itself, there’s no need to pay anyone.

We build real relationships instead, so if a venue or vendor recommends us, it’s because they value our work and enjoy working with our team. We have never paid and will never pay to be on anyone’s preferred list.

We know just about everyone, and we keep a huge vendor list, but we get to know you first. Then we match on two things: your personality has to match the vendor’s, and your budget has to match theirs. We give no preferential treatment to any venue or vendor.

When the match is right, you build a real rapport and work well together. Vendors and venues know we only recommend them when the client is a match. It’s kind of like a dating service.

Every single one of our packages is priced to reflect the actual hours and labor it takes to plan and execute your event. We don’t mark anything up, and our price reflects our experience and what we bring to the table. So no, we do not discount any of our services.

Absolutely! Never accept less from us or any other vendor. We even check to see if your other vendors have coverage.

We don’t keep set office hours, and visits to our Clinton office are by appointment only. We reply within two business days. Fridays through Sundays (and holidays) we’re either at your events or with our families.
